The Experience

 

Jennifer Rae, Owner/President has been in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area for 25 years. She has worked extensively in the non-profit, education industry. She formed Invitation to Better Things, LLC eight years ago to provide project management for events, web services, publishing and photography.

 

She had the wonderful opportunity to work in the aerospace, education industry as Director of Membership for the Young Astronaut Council where she developed public relations skills including event planning amongst other skills. She worked with NASA, the Air Force Association, U.S. Department of Defense Schools, public and private U.S. schools, astronauts and visiting foreign delegations.

 

She has been a member of Rotary for four years and has held positions including Program Chair and Web Chair. While in high school and college, she also was active in different international clubs. In college, she helped coordinate an international jamboree where over 1,000 people came to campus to partake in entertainment, food and fun.

 

Jennifer grew up just North of New York City in Westchester County, New York. She graduated from Sweet Briar College, an all-women, liberal arts college located in Virginia where she earned her B.A. in Political Science. She has traveled extensively to countries including Canada, Dominican Republic, England, Italy and Venezuela.
